tanmaṅgalaṃ yatra manaḥ prasannaṃ tajjīvanaṃ yanna parasya sevā /
tadarjitaṃ yatsvajanena bhuktaṃ tadgarjitaṃ yatsamare ripūṇām //
That is auspiciousness where the mind is serene; that is living where there is no service to another; / that is wealth earned which is enjoyed by one’s own kin; that is roaring which is [heard] among enemies in battle.
