yanmayā śraddhayā dattaṃ prīyatāṃ tena me prabhuḥ /
iti kṣamāpya ca vratī kuryādvādaśavārṣikam //
May my Lord be pleased with what I have offered in faith!' / Having thus asked for forgiveness, the observer of the religious observance should perform it for twelve years.
