budhāṣṭamīkathā puṇyā śrotavyā kṛtibhirdhruvam //
On the petals and in the center of the limbs, [one should worship Budha who is] dark-complexioned, holding an arrow and a bow. / The holy narrative of Budhāṣṭamī must definitely be heard by the virtuous.
