nandighoṣaṃ rathaṃ divyamagnerghanuranuttamam /
gāṇḍīvaṃ nāma taddivyaṃ triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam /
akṣayānsāyakāṃścaiva tathābhedyañca daṃśanam //

and [he received] the divine chariot Nandighoṣa, the unsurpassed bow of Agni
called Gāṇḍīva, famed throughout the three worlds,
inexhaustible arrows, and impenetrable armor.
