to the son of Viśvāmitra, the great-souled Suśruta. / Having heard the Bhārata and the incarnations, a man goes to heaven.

Thus ends the one hundred and forty-fifth chapter, entitled 'Description of the Bhārata and other events', in the Ācārakāṇḍa, which is called the first part in the First Section of the glorious and great Garuḍapurāṇa.
