svacchamuṣṇagurutvañca gātrāṇāṃ bahumūtratā /
na vijīrṇaṃ na ca mlānirjvarasyāmasya lakṣaṇam //
salivation, nausea, loss of hunger, bad taste in the mouth, / clarity, heat and heaviness of the limbs, excessive urination, / absence of digestion, and lack of exhaustion: these are the signs of raw fever.
