vidagdhastu pacetpakvaṃ caiva viśodhayet /
ropaṇaṃ mṛdubhāvaṃ ca tailenānena kārayet //
It ripens what is inflamed, purifies what is ripe, / and brings about healing and softening through this oil.

iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe pūrvakhaṇḍe prathamāṃśākhye ācārakāṇḍe brāhmīghṛtādivarṇanaṃ nāma catuḥ saptatyuttaraśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the one hundred and seventy-fourth chapter, entitled “Description of Brāhmīghṛta and Other Remedies,” in the Ācārakāṇḍa of the first part of the first section of the glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa.
