garuḍoktaṃ kaśyapāya vakṣye mṛtyuñjayārcanam /
uddhārapūrvakaṃ puṇyaṃ sarvadevamayaṃ matam //
The glorious and great Garuḍapurāṇa — 18
Sūta said:
I shall declare the worship of Mṛtyuñjaya as spoken by Garuḍa to Kaśyapa,
preceded by the extraction of mantras, holy, considered to comprise all the gods.
