śrīgaruḍamahāpurāṇam- 188
hariruvāca /
nirvraṇaḥ syātpūyaṃhīno prahāro ghṛpūritaḥ /
apāmārgasya vai mūlaṃ hastābhyāñca vimarditam /
tadrasena prahārasya raktastrāvo na pūraṇāt //

Hari said: / A wound filled with ghee becomes healed and free of pus; / the root of apāmārga crushed with both hands: / from filling the wound with its juice, there is no discharge of blood.
