mūlaṃ paryuṣitodena śirīṣasya yathā tathā /
raktacitrakamūlasya rasasya bharaṇāddhara /
karṇayoḥ kāmalāvyādhināśaḥ syānnātra saṃśayaḥ //

By taking root of śirīṣa with water stored overnight in this way, / and by filling the ears with the juice of red citraka root, O Hara, / the disease of jaundice is destroyed: there is no doubt.
