nākrāmanti ca tacchāyāṃ svapne 'pi viṣapannagāḥ /
yastu lakṣaṃ japeccāsyāḥ sa dṛṣṭvā(ṣṭyā) nāśayedviṣam //

poisonous serpents do not cross even his shadow in a dream; / and he who chants a hundred thousand of this will destroy poison by a mere glance.
