vaktraṃ nādyānnasau syātāṃ caturthādyagaṇo bhavet /
pathyāvaktraṃ jena same viparītādiranyathā //
A vaktra should not have na and sa from the beginning; the gaṇa should begin from the fourth.
It is pathyāvaktra with ja-gaṇa in the even; otherwise it is viparīta and the rest.
