iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe pūrvakhaṇḍe prathamāṃśākhye ācārakāṇḍe chandaḥ śāstre āryāvṛttādichandolakṣaṇanirūpaṇaṃ nāmāṣṭottaradviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the two hundred and eighth chapter, named 'Exposition of the Characteristics of Metres Beginning with Āryā' in the treatise on metres in the section on conduct of the first part of the glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa.
