(ityupasthitapracupitaprakaraṇam) /
viṣamākṣarapādaṃ vā pañcaṣaṭkādi yāvakam /
chando 'tra noktā gātheti daśadharṃmādivadbhavet //
(Thus ends the section on the upasthitapracupita meter.) / Or a meter having quarters of unequal syllables, numbering from five or six onwards, / which has not been stated here, is called a gāthā, as in the case of the ten dharmas and the like.
