akṣayā syātpitṝṇāñca svargaprāptirdhruvā tathā /
ityuktaṃ pārvaṇaṃ śrāddhaṃ pitṝṇāṃ brahmalokadam //
becomes inexhaustible for the ancestors, and attainment of heaven is assured. / Thus has been declared the pārvaṇa-śrāddha, which grants the world of Brahman to the ancestors.

iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe pūrvakhaṇḍe prathamāṃśākhye ācārakāṇḍe pārvaṇaśrāddhakathanaṃ nāmāṣṭradaśādhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the two hundred and eighteenth chapter, titled "Explanation of the Pārvaṇa-śrāddha," in the Ācārakāṇḍa of the first part in the first section of the glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa.
