viṣṇuśca rudro bhūtvāsau pātālāni dahatyadhaḥ //
The worlds Bhūḥ, Bhuvaḥ, Svaḥ, Mahar, and Jana, with all that moves and is still, [dry up]; / and Viṣṇu, having assumed the form of Rudra, burns the nether worlds below.
