viṣṇurūpaḥśataṃ vāti varṣāṇāṃ vāyurūrjitaḥ /
viṣṇure kārṇavī bhūte varṣe brahmasvarūpadhṛk /
śete 'nantāsane viṣṇurnaṣṭe sthāvarajaṅgame //
A mighty wind, the very form of Viṣṇu, blows for a hundred years. / When the universe has become a single ocean of rain, Viṣṇu, assuming the form of Brahmā, / lies on the serpent couch, all moving and unmoving creation having perished.
