vācake praṇave jñāte vācyaṃ brahma prasīdati /
(oṃnamo viṣṇave).ṣaṣṭhākṣaraśca japtavyo gāyattrī dvādaśākṣarī //

When the expressive praṇava is known, the expressed Brahman is pleased.
One should recite the six-syllabled [mantra] 'oṃ namo viṣṇave' and the twelve-syllabled Gāyatrī.
