ārūḍhayogavṛkṣāṇāṃ jñānaṃ tyāgaṃ paraṃ matam /
jñātumicchati śabdādīnrāgo dveṣo 'tha jāyate //

for those who have ascended the tree of yoga, knowledge and renunciation are considered supreme. / [When] one desires to perceive sound and other [objects], passion and hatred arise;
