1.32.26

śaktayaścaiva pūrvādau devadevasya śaṅkara /
indrādayo lokapālāḥ pūjyāḥ pūrvādiṣu sthitāḥ //

And the powers of the God of gods [are to be worshipped] starting from the east, O Śaṅkara;
