māheśī kathitā pūjā rudra pāpavināsinī //
One should indeed make the surrender of recitation and worship with the root mantra. / This worship of Maheśa has been declared, O Rudra, destroying sin.

iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe pūrvakhaṇḍe prathamāṃśākhye ācārakāṇḍe maheśvarapūjāvidhirnāma catvāriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ
