nṛpā hīnāḥ karacchaidaiḥ saśabdairdhanavarjitāḥ /
saṃvṛtaiścaiva nimnaiśca dhaninaḥ parikīrtitāḥ //

they become kings; those with cuts across their hands, or noisy ones, are destitute of wealth; / with closed and depressed [palms], men are declared wealthy.
