arciḥ prabhānāvṛtadigvibhāgamādityavahuḥ khavibhāvyabimbam /
tejastiraskṛtya hutāśanendunakṣatratārāprabhavaṃ samagram //

With its beam of light, its disk, perceivable in the sky like the sun, leaves no quarter of the sky uncovered, / eclipsing the entire brilliance arising from fire, moon, constellations, and stars;
