ādāya tatsakalameva tato 'nnabhāṇḍaṃ jambīrajātarasayojanayā vipakram /
ghṛṣṭaṃ tato mṛdutanūkṛtapiṇḍamūlaiḥ kuryādyatheṣṭamanu mauktikamāśu viddham //

Then, taking that entire pot of food, thoroughly cooked with an addition of lime juice, / and rubbed with soft, thinned cakes of roots, one should quickly drill the pearl as desired.
