varṇasyāti vibhutvādyasyāntaḥ svacchakiraṇaparidhānam /
sāndrasnigdhaviśuddhaṃ komalabarhiprabhādisamakānti //

That which, by the great abundance of its color, has within it a veil of clear rays, / dense, smooth, pure, with a luster equal to the soft brilliance of a peacock's plumage and the like;
