ātmanaḥ saṃśayopāyaḥ kriyate kṣaṇamantraṇāt /
svamuktiheturna bhavatyasāvapi parigrahāt //

The means to purify oneself is performed by momentarily taking counsel;
that does not become a cause of one’s liberation because of attachment.
