śrāddhe devānpitṝnprārcya khādanmāṃsaṃ na doṣabhāk //
Having eaten onions, garlic, and the like, one should perform a cāndrāyaṇa fast.
Having worshipped the gods and ancestors at a śrāddha, one who eats meat incurs no guilt.
