gāyanti devāḥ kila gītakāni dhanyāstu ye bhāratabhūmibhāge /
svargāpavargasya phalārjanāya bhavanti bhūyaḥ puruṣāḥ suratvāt //
The gods indeed sing songs: 'Blessed are they in the land of Bhārata / who, having been gods, become mortals again to attain the fruit of heaven and liberation!'
