I have asked everything concerning the end: tell it indeed for the welfare of the world.

iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe uttarakhaṇḍe dvitīyāṃśākhye dharmakāṇḍe (pretakhaṇḍe) śrīkṛṣṇagaruḍasaṃvāde praśraprapañco nāma prathamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the first chapter, named 'The Expansion of Questions', in the dialogue between Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Garuḍa, in the Pretakhaṇḍa (Dharmakāṇḍa), the second part of the Latter Section of the glorious and great Garuḍapurāṇa.
