śrībhagavānuvāca /
garutmañchṛṇu vakṣyāmi yathā dṛṣṭāstu sītayā /
pitaro vipradehe vai śvaśurādyāstrayaḥ kvacit //
The Blessed Lord said: / Hear, O Garutmat; I will tell how the three ancestors, beginning with the father-in-law, / were seen by Sītā in the bodies of brāhmaṇas on a certain occasion.
