2.15.30

mṛsyotkrāntisamayātṣaṭ piṇḍānkramaśo dadet /
mṛtasthāne tathā dvāre catvare tārkṣya kāraṇāt //

From the time the deceased passes away, one should give six piṇḍas in order:
at the place of death, at the doorway, and at the crossroads, O Tārkṣya, for a purpose;
