Garudapurana 2.15.36

2.15.36

piśācā rākṣasā yakṣā ye cānye diśi vāsinaḥ /
tasya hotavyadehasyanaivāyogyatvakārakāḥ //

so that piśācas, rākṣasas, yakṣas, and whoever else dwell in the quarters
do not make that body, which is to be offered into the fire, unfit.
