ṣaṭ saptame kaṭī guhyamṛrū cāpyaṣṭame tathā /
tālū pādau ca navame daśame 'hni kṣudhā bhavet //
on the sixth and seventh, the waist and private parts; and on the eighth, the thighs; / on the ninth, the palate and feet; and on the tenth day, hunger arises.
