jalāśayo naiva kṛto hi nirjale manuṣyahetoḥ paśupakṣihetave /
gotṛptihetorna kṛtaṃ hi gocaraṃ dehinkvacinnastara yattvayā kṛtam //
No water reservoir was constructed in a waterless place for the sake of human beings or beasts and birds; / no pasture was made for the satisfaction of cows. O embodied soul, somehow cross over what was done by you!
