māsopavāsairna viśoṣitaṃ vapuścāndrāyaṇairvā niyamaiśca saṃhataiḥ /
nārīśarīraṃ bahuduḥ khabhājanaṃ labdhaṃ mayā pūrvakṛtairvikarmabhiḥ //

My body was not emaciated by month-long fasts, nor by cāndrāyaṇa fasts, nor by austere restraints; / a woman’s body, a vessel of much sorrow, was obtained by me because of improper deeds performed in the past.”
