tamuddiśya dadātyannaṃ sukhaṃ yāti mahādhvani /
divā rātrau tamuddiśya sthāne dīpaprado bhavet //
One who gives food on behalf of him travels easily on the great road; / day and night, one should be a giver of lamps in a spot on behalf of him.
