tiladarbhaiśca bhūmyāṃ vai kuṭī ṛtumatī bhavet /
pañca ratnāni vaktre tu yena jīvaḥ prarohati //
By means of sesamum and darbha grass on the ground, a hut becomes fit for rites; / five jewels [should be placed] in the mouth, by which the life-principle ascends.
