kṛṣṇadhānyāni pūjāṃ ca pradadyādvedapārage /
homaṃ kuryādyathāśakti sampūrṇaṃ vācayetsudhīḥ //
The wise person should give black grains and gifts of worship to one who has mastered the Vedas, / perform an oblation to the fire according to his ability, and have [the scripture] read completely.
