iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe uttarakhaṇḍe dvitīyāṃśe dharmakāṇḍe pretakalpe śrīkṛṣṇagaruḍasaṃvāde babhruvāhanapretasaṃvāde pretatvahetutannivṛttyupāyanirūpaṇaṃ nāma saptaviṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ

Thus ends the twenty-seventh chapter, named ‘Ascertainment of the Cause of the State of a Ghost and the Means for its Cessation in the Conversation between Babhruvāhana and the Ghost’, in the dialogue between Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Garuḍa, in the Pretakalpa of the Dharmakāṇḍa, in the second part of the latter section of the venerable Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa.
