sūkare brahmahā majjetsurāpaḥ svarṇataskaraḥ /
tāle patetkṣattrahantā hatvā vaiśyaṃ ca durgatiḥ //

into Śūkara sinks the slayer of a brahmin, a drinker of liquor, and a thief of gold; / into Tāla falls the slayer of a kṣatriya, and on slaying a vaiśya one reaches misfortune;
