vayamāpo vayaṃ pṛthvī vayaṃ darbhā vayaṃ tilāḥ /
vayaṃ gāvo vayaṃ rājā vayaṃ vāyurvayaṃ prajāḥ //

We are the waters, we are the earth, we are the darbha grasses, we are the sesame seeds; / we are the cows, we are the king, we are the wind, we are the creatures;
