śrīgaruḍamahāpurāṇam- 34
śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca /
śṛṇu tārkṣya yathānyāyaṃ dharmādharmsya lakṣaṇam /
sukṛtaṃ duṣkṛtaṃ nṝṇāmagre dhāvati dhāvatām //

The glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa, [chapter] 34.
The blessed Kṛṣṇa said:
Listen, O Tārkṣya, according to proper rule, to the definition of dharma and adharma;
good deeds and bad deeds run in front of running men.
