paśutve sthāvaratve ca yatra kvāpi sa jāyate /
tatraiva janturutpannaḥ śrāddhaṃ tatropatiṣṭhati //
Whether he is born among beasts, among stationary things, or wherever else, / wherever the creature is born, the śrāddha reaches him right there.
