tīrthe gṛhe vā saṃnyāsaṃ nītvā cenmriyate yadi /
pratyahaṃ labhate so 'pi pūrvoktaṃ dviguṇaṃ phalam //
If he dies having adopted renunciation either at a sacred place or at home, / he too obtains every day double the aforementioned fruit.
