asthīni cenna labhyante proṣitasya narasya ca /
teṣāñca hi gatisthānaṃ vidhānaṃ kathayāmyaham //
The blessed Kṛṣṇa said: / If the bones of a man who died abroad are not found, / I shall tell you the rite for their final state and destiny.
