sarvauṣadhiyutaṃ pretaṃ kṛtvā pūjā yathoditā /
sāgnike (kaiścā) cāpi vidhinā yajñapātraṃ nyasetkramāt //
Having treated the deceased with all [medicinal] herbs, the worship should be performed as prescribed; / and for one who maintained the sacred fires, he should arrange the sacrificial vessels in due order according to the rules.
