garuḍa uvāca /
bhagavandevadeveśa kṛpayā parayā vada /
dānaṃ dānasya māhātmyaṃ vaitaraṇyāḥ pramāṇakam //
The glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa: Chapter 47. / Garuḍa said: / O Blessed One, Lord of the gods of gods, out of supreme compassion please declare / the gift, the majesty of the gift, and the measure of the Vaitaraṇī.
