iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpu- uttarakhaṇḍe dvitīdṛ dharmakādṛpretadṛśrīkṛṣṇagaruḍasaṃvāde karmavipākādinirūpaṇaṃ nāma saptacatvāriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ

Thus ends the forty-seventh chapter, entitled “Description of the Ripening of Actions and the Like,” in the dialogue between Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Garuḍa in the Pretakalpa of the Dharma section, in the latter section of the glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa.
