sūta uvāca /
śrutvātha devo garuḍaṃ tvavocat smṛtvā vapuḥ karmabhayañca rūpam /
sṛṣṭā dharā yena carācaraṃ jagatsa yena śastā vihito yamo vibhuḥ //
Sūta said: / Having heard this, the Lord then spoke to Garuḍa, remembering the body, the fear of karma, and the form— / he by whom the earth and the moving and unmoving world were created, he by whom the mighty ruler Yama was appointed.
