śvaḥ kāryamadya kurvīta pūrvāhne cāparāhnikam /
na hi mṛtyuḥ pratīkṣeta kṛtaṃ vāpyatha vākṛtam //
One should do today what is to be done tomorrow, and in the forenoon what is to be done in the afternoon,
for Death does not wait [to see] whether it has been done or not done.
